Our 200:1 Freeze-Dried Aloe Vera Powder is the most concentrated, bioactive form of aloe available for serious growers. Made from hand-harvested Aloe barbadensis miller leaves — inner fillet only, from certified organic source material, freeze-dried at peak maturity (3–4 years) — this ultra-soluble, filler-free powder preserves the full spectrum of plant-active compounds that make aloe one of the most versatile inputs in any grow operation.
Used as a foliar spray, aloe supports natural plant vigor, leaf vitality, and recovery from heat, drought, and transplant stress. As a soil drench, it feeds the rhizosphere with prebiotic polysaccharides, amino acids, and trace minerals. As a cloning solution, it supports rapid root development. And as a seed soak, research suggests it can support germination performance and seedling vigor, particularly under cold, dry, or saline conditions.
One product. Multiple applications. 100% Pure, No fillers, no synthetics.
🔬 Why 200:1 Concentrate Matters
A single 28g pouch of our aloe powder is equivalent to approximately 5.6 litres of fresh inner-leaf aloe gel — the yield from roughly 30 mature aloe leaves. Freeze-drying preserves long-chain polysaccharides such as acemannan intact, which gives aloe much of its biological activity, so your reconstituted solution behaves like fresh-cut aloe straight from the leaf.
🧪 What's in the Powder
Aloe vera contains a wide spectrum of naturally occurring plant compounds. These are the ones most relevant for plant health applications:
Salicylic acid — A naturally occurring plant hormone involved in the plant's own signalling pathways. Research describes salicylic acid as a key regulator of plant responses to environmental stress.
Acemannan and complex polysaccharides — A long-chain β-(1,4)-acetylated mannan that has been studied for its prebiotic activity, meaning it can serve as a food source for beneficial microorganisms in soil and growing media, including Bacillus, Trichoderma, Pseudomonas, and mycorrhizal fungi.
Saponins — Naturally occurring triterpenoid surfactants. Saponins reduce water's surface tension, helping foliar sprays sheet evenly across waxy leaf surfaces and helping water penetrate dry, hydrophobic soils.
Plant growth signals — Aloe contains naturally occurring auxin-like compounds, gibberellin-like activity, and cytokinin activity that support cell division, root initiation, and shoot extension, particularly during propagation and early seedling stages.
Amino acids, enzymes, vitamins, and trace minerals — 20 of the 22 essential amino acids, eight active enzymes (including bradykinase, lipase, and amylase), vitamins B1, B2, B6, C, E, and folate, plus calcium, magnesium, zinc, and other trace minerals.
🌱 Key Benefits
🌱 Supports Root Development - Naturally occurring auxin and gibberellin-like activity and amino acids support root initiation, cell division, and early growth in cuttings, seedlings, and transplants.
🛡️ Supports Plant Vigor & Stress Tolerance - Salicylic acid and other bioactive compounds support the plant's natural responses to environmental stressors, including heat, drought, and transplant shock.
🌿 Feeds the Soil Food Web - Acemannan and complex polysaccharides function as prebiotics, supporting populations of beneficial microorganisms, including Bacillus, Trichoderma, Pseudomonas, and mycorrhizal fungi.
💧 Buffers Environmental Stress - Supports plant recovery from transplant shock, drought, heat, cold, and high-light or salt conditions. Supports water-use efficiency and stomatal regulation.
💦 Improves Spray Coverage - Natural saponins reduce water surface tension, helping foliar sprays adhere to leaves and helping root drenches penetrate dry or compacted soil.
🧬 Bioavailable Nutritional Support - Provides 20 amino acids, eight active enzymes, B-complex vitamins, vitamin C, and naturally chelated trace minerals — absorbed through both leaves and roots.
🌾 Supports Seed and Seedling Vigor - Research has shown that aloe-based seed soaks can support germination performance, particularly under stress conditions.

🔧 Application Rates
🌿 Foliar Spray (Plant Tonic)
Coats leaves and stems with salicylic acid, saponins, and amino acids. Best used preventively as part of a regular plant-care rotation rather than as a one-time rescue treatment.
Rate: Up to 1 tsp (5 ml) per 1 gallon (3.78 L) of non-chlorinated water.
Apply during early morning, late evening, or when grow lights are off or dimmed. Coat the entire plant — tops and undersides of leaves, stems, and surrounding foliage — to the point of slight runoff.
💧 Soil Drench (Rhizosphere Biostimulant)
Feeds the root zone with prebiotic polysaccharides, organic acids, and chelated trace minerals. Excellent after transplanting, during heat events, or as part of a regular feeding rotation.
Rate: ½ tsp (2.5 ml) per 1 gallon (3.78 L). Apply to the root zone every 2 to 4 weeks during the active growing season.
✂️ Cloning & Cutting Soak
Naturally occurring rooting cofactors and polysaccharides support callus formation and cell division at the cut site.
Rate: ½ tsp (2.5 ml) per 1 gallon (3.78 L). Soak cuttings for 6 to 12 hours before placing them into cloning media.
Pair with Liquid Kelp and Fulvic Acid for amplified support on harder-to-root species.
🌾 Seed Soak
Research on several crops has shown that aloe-based seed soaks can support germination and seedling vigor — particularly when sowing into cold, dry, or saline soil.
Rate: ¼ tsp (1.25 ml) per 1 gallon (3.78 L). Soak seeds 6 to 12 hours before sowing.
🌱 Transplant Recovery Drench
Supports plant recovery from transplant stress; polysaccharides feed the new root zone microbiome from day one.
Rate: ½ tsp (2.5 ml) per 1 gallon (3.78 L), applied as a root-zone drench at planting and again 5 to 7 days later.
🧬 Microbial Inoculant Carrier
The polysaccharide matrix supports the survival and establishment of Trichoderma, Bacillus, and mycorrhizal propagules during application.
Rate: ½ tsp (2.5 ml) per 1 gallon (3.78 L), tank-mixed with your inoculant of choice — such as our Activated Beneficial Microbes (ABM).
🔄 Tank-Mix Recipes
Aloe Vera Powder combines naturally with our other plant amendments. Fill a pump sprayer with clean, non-chlorinated water, add each ingredient at its recommended rate, and stir gently — saponins foam if agitated too aggressively. All rates per 1 gallon (3.78 L) of water.
